Whispers of Time Performance was a special event production by Artbox Global Media, bringing together Iranian artists in Vancouver for an unforgettable fusion of traditional and folk music with contemporary dance. The event featured renowned percussionist Homayoon Nasiri, who was invited to perform alongside talented local musiciansHeld at the Kay Meek Arts Centre, the show was a sold-out success, showcasing the power of cultural collaboration. Throughout the week leading up to the performance, artists rehearsed intensively, perfecting four musical pieces. Additionally, Homayoon Nasiri conducted a Cajón workshop, sharing his expertise with the community.
As the photographer, I had the privilege of capturing the essence of this extraordinary event; from rehearsals to the final soundcheck in the morning and the spectacular concert at night.
